Senators Specter and Casey need to hear from people who disagree with this legislation. Also, PA Senator John Eichelberger needs to be supported in every way that is possible. It is unfortunate that people who support traditional marriage are attacked and forced out of public office. In this way, same sex marriage has made inroads in many states and in the federal gov. without people even knowing it. Let us not allow that to happen in PA. It is very important that people stand up now and support traditional marriage and speak against the Employment Non Discrimination Act, which our Federal Government would like to sign into law. There are so many topics that we could discuss on why this is important such as: What is the purpose of marriage? How does marriage effect the lives of children? Who does marriage effect the society as a whole? etc. This is a big issue that is being challenged by a minority of people who just want to do what they want to do and force everyone else to conform to their lifestyle. We as American's need to stand up for our beliefs. I definitely believe that it is worth standing up for the idea that marriage is between a man and a woman. There are so many topics that we could discuss on why this is important such as:
What is the purpose of marriage?
How does marriage effect the lives of children?
Who does marriage effect the society as a whole?
etc.

This is a big issue that is being challenged by a minority of people who just want to do what they want to do and force everyone else to conform to their lifestyle. We as American’s need to stand up for our beliefs.
