The Butterfly Effect of Same-Sex ‘Marriage’
January 27, 2009
If same-sex ‘marriage’ becomes an accepted and legal definition of marriage, every argument in support of that measure will be used to widen the definition of marriage even more.
Same-Sex Marriage Used to Defend Polygamy in Canada
In British Columbia, two polygamous communities are going to court to argue that the reasoning behind same-sex unions is the same argument for allowing multiple marriage partners.
“If (homosexuals) can marry, what is the reason that public policy says one person can’t marry more than one person?”
A Matter of Time: What the same-sex marriage crowd isn’t telling us:
Blog entry from Family Policy Council of West Virginia:
“If same-sex marriage is legalized in the United States it will be just a very short time before every other type of cohabitation is sought after. We will see advocacy groups seek legalization of polygamy, incestuous relationships, poly-amorous relationships, relationships with minors, and at the bottom of the barrel will be those wanting relationships with animals.”
Some respond to this with: “That’s not how marriage is- that’s just not right”. What makes the ”just not right” objection to those definitions more reasonable than the “just not right” objection to same-sex marriage?
The age-old definition of marriage is not simply about love or about two people. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman. By widening that definition for same-sex relationships, you welcome the inclusion of a host of other relationships to be deemed marriage.

Obama during his campaign and since the election repeatedly has affirmed his support for the homosexual lifestyle and his officials have said that they expect him to announce he is lifting the ban on open homosexuality in the U.S. military almost as soon as he is sworn into office. It is no wonder America’s perverts ere attracted to this event and other “Gayla’s” held during the inauguration weekend. His first agenda item on the White House web page is civil rights in which he adds LGBT protection to discrimination laws.
• Expand Hate Crimes Statutes: to include sexual orientation & gender identity
• Fight Workplace Discrimination: President Obama believes that our anti-discrimination employment laws should be expanded to include sexual orientation and gender identity.
• Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples:
• Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage: President Obama voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment in 2006 which would have defined marriage as between a man and a woman and prevented judicial extension of marriage-like rights to same-sex or other unmarried couples.
• Repeal Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell
• Expand Adoption Rights: President Obama believes that we must ensure adoption rights for all couples and individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation. He thinks that a child will benefit from a healthy and loving home, whether the parents are gay or not.

Disgusted and very concerned with the parallels were are seeing with the Roman Empire before it fell. Americans need to rise up and pressure their politicians to not cave in to the radical left’s political correctness. If they do, boot them out next election.

God created man & woman and only man & woman to be married. He didn’t create woman to marry woman nor man to mary man. This is God’s law and no one I mean no one can undermine it.

I have always contended that same-sex “marriage” is about breaking down all barriers to perverted relationships.
Marriage is about 1 man and 1 woman, not 3 people and a dog, not a father and daughter, or 29 hippies in a commune, etc. It is God’s plan for human propagation and fellowship.
No more “Adam and Steve”, thank you.

Wow, as a gay man I have the power to bring down the United States like the Roman Empire was brought down. I had no idea.

When Proposition 8 was debated last year in CA, Gay rights advocacy groups used images of the Civil Rights effort in the 60s to draw comparisons with themselves. What we all knew in the 60s was that if Blacks were granted equal status with White,EVERY race would eventually also be included. (And gratefully, that is what happened.) The same principle should be at work with sexual orientation. If Gays/Lesbians are granted rights to marry and be free from discrimination, we should understand that ALL sexual orientations will follow. Ask any proponent of Gay/Lesbian rights: Are you fighting for the rights of ALL sexual orientations or just the 2-3 most powerful, prominent and popular orientations? Surprisingly, we might find that the term “bigot” is more easily applied to those who see themselves the tolerant ones of the discussion.
