If same-sex marriage becomes law in PA, I hope parents will homeschool their kids. It's the only way to remove them from this issue. PS. Turn off the TV's too.

With a Marriage Protection Amendment, love and character of a person do no define what marriage is. Marriage is a social contract between a man and a woman.

To educate you on other peoples and cultures, take a look outside of the United States. In countries where traditional marriage has been redefined, marriage rates rapidly decline. In Europe, redefinition of marriage has caused for out-of-wedlock birthrates to skyrocket and for a collapse in fertility rates.

If you open the door to redefine marriage, you open the door to these social issues. When marriage begins to mean everything, it means nothing.

I cannot believe that people can be so narrow minded in this century. What ever happened to all people are created equal. The laws that are imposed upon us are man made by narrow minded biggots. Bigotry has no place in this society..not now, not ever. We are supposed to be the smartest, most informed country in the world. Obviously some of you people choose not to educate yourself about other people, cultures or races. Some of my best friends are blacks, jewish, and gay and I'm proud of it. Don't judge everyone by one or two people you think you know. Until you open your hearts and minds you will be forever lost. God made us all as we are supposed to be, whether you choose to believe it. The character of a person has nothing to with their race, religion or their sexuality. Get a grip people. Hopefully the children that you are trying to protect grow up to be better citizens and accept people for who they are, and not what you perceive them to be! God forgive you all for having such prejudice in your hearts and minds.

Legalized same sex marriage would affect what our children learn at school in Pa. The teaching of the normalization of homosexuality activity would dilute the traditional catholic values that I am trying to teach my children at home. Just look at what happened in Massachusetts last February, Federal Judge Mark Wolf ruled that parents Parkers and Wirthlins did not have the parental right to opt their kindergarten children out of a class normalizing homosexuality and giving schools virtually unlimited ability to normalize and promote homosexuality in classrooms. Parents were basically told by the courts, that their parental rights stopped at the threshold of the public school door. If same sex marriage is legalized the people who will suffer the most are the children, the next generation, because they will be taught that what is wrong is right and what is right is wrong.
